Today’s meditation comes from The Book Of Acts in The New Testament and from the writings of Eknath Easwaran, with music by Outside The Sky.
Passage: “Paul and Barnabas had such a sharp disagreement that they decided to part ways. Barnabas went with Mark and sailed for Cyprus. Paul and Silas also left. They were commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord.” —Acts 15:39-41
Perspective: “We should be able to make all sorts of graceful concessions on things that do not matter in life and yet stand unshakable on essentials. To do this, we have to be detached from our opinions. I'm not recommending that we be wishy-washy, or lack in our strength convictions, but that we cultivate the forbearance not to force our opinions on others.” —Eknath Easwaran
Music: “Inside The Hidden Forest” by Outside The Sky
Narrator: Ryan Phipps
