Reading

Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the murky depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the currents engulf me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

Answer me out of the goodness of your love; in your great mercy turn to me. Do not hide from me; answer me quickly, for I am in trouble.

—Psalm 69

Quiet

As your day begins, spend a few moments in silence and stillness.

Blessing

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.”

—Matthew 11 (NT)
