I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the pain. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning.

As your day begins, spend a few moments in silence and stillness.
Prayer
Faithful God, teach me what it means to have you as my portion, finding my deepest satisfaction in you. Lead me to hope in you and know what it is for my soul to be well in all things. Amen. (HC)
